More Unmissable Spring Jewellery Trends 2021

Spring is starting to show itself, and with it many of us are looking to switch out our wardrobes for something a little more in-keeping with the summer months ahead, updating our jewellery and accessories to match. But what are the big spring jewellery 2021 jewellery trends? Here is our spring jewellery trend report, ready for you to get your wardrobe prepared for the warmer months to come.

Beach beads

Even if summer holidays may not be on the cards just yet, don’t let that stop you from updating your summer holiday jewellery. Beach beads are going to be big this spring, and even if you only get a walk along the cost during the warmer spring days, why not style it out with boho beach jewellery to match?

Shell jewellery isn’t so on trend at the moment, but brightly coloured beads are the way forward for spring/summer 2021 accessory trends. This is great news, as it means that you can wear your beach beads away from the coast, too. Fine seed beads are the way to go; layer them up for more effect or wear just a simple string away from the beach for every-day spring style.

Pearly queen

Pearls are making a comeback when it comes to jewellery trends 2021. UK jewellery lovers should be aware, however, that they’re having an update, too; pearls need to be bold for spring 2021, and as such opt for large pearl chandelier earrings or a chunky choker.

We’ve also seen pearl necklaces on a fine gold or silver chain, with one single misshapen natural pearl dangling from the end. This is a more delicate way of wearing pearls if big and bold isn’t for you, but you’re not quite ready to go back to the traditional string of pearls.

Metal crushes

Crushed metal is going to be a huge trend this year. Crushed metal bangles and chokers are going to be in, so why not speak to your jeweller about handmade jewellery trends in 2021 and how you can incorporate the crushed metal look into your everyday wardrobe?

A chunky piece of crushed metal jewellery can really update a simple white shirt or jumper, so if your jeweller has nothing in stock that fits the bill, why not ask them to make something bespoke for you?

Mismatched earrings

Mismatched earrings have seen a huge rise in popularity this year and if you like to stand out from the crowd, this is one of the best and easiest spring jewellery trends for this year.

The key to getting it right is to choose two earrings which are either the same colour or material, or along the same themes. So, if you have a star in one ear, opt for a lightning bolt, for example, in the other. Similarly, you can go subtle with mismatched studs, or mix it up even further and have one short earring and one longer one to make your look stand out.
